My Hero Academia CCG Jet Burn Coming to Stores November 2023
My Hero Academia Collectible Card Game: Jet Burn, the latest entry in the TCG series, will be launching in November.
UVS Games has revealed its upcoming launch of My Hero Academia Collectable Card Game: Jet Burn, based on the anime and manga series My Hero Academia (Boku no Hero Academia).
Set to hit shelves in November, the much-anticipated set includes over 150 cards, introducing 17 new characters, such as Hawks and Hood, along with a fresh version of Endeavor. This release joins the long-standing UniVersus collectible card game series, offering fans the chance to pit beloved characters from different universes against each other. The collection has been referred to as "the biggest UniVersus set of the year," by the UVS Games.
How To Get Started With MHA: Jet Burn
The heart of the collection is the 24-pack Booster Box, available at local game stores. Each box includes 24 booster packs, each containing 11 cards. Among these cards are 1 character card, 9 additional cards, and a Rare, Ultra Rare, or Secret Rare card. Limited edition Chrome Rares are also a possibility in Booster Boxes Two Clash Decks are also available to get new players started, featuring Ochaco Uraraka and Himiko Toga. Each deck comprises 50 cards and 1 character card, complete with a play guide and paper playmat, offering an ideal entry point for newcomers. The Hanging Boosters option is another way to dive in, containing 1 character card, 9 additional cards, and 1 Rare, Ultra Rare, or Secret Rare card. These boosters also have a chance to contain limited edition Chrome Rares.
A Jet Burn Prerelease Pack, initially introduced for this year's My Hero Academia Collectible Card Game: Undaunted Raid, will be accessible before the new set's launch, starting November 10th. Attendees of official Jet Burn Prerelease events will receive a Player Kit featuring 6 Jet Burn booster packs and a bonus XR or alternative-art character card.
An exclusive My Hero Academia Collectible Card Game playmat is also on offer, featuring artwork of Izuku Midoriya, Ochako Uraraka, and Himiko Toga. The playmat, measuring 24 x 14 inches, comes in a display-ready box with a rubber backing to prevent slipping.
First launched in 2021, the My Hero Academia Collectible Card Game series lets players build their own powerful decks around the students of Class 1-A and the heroes and villains that surround them as they battle rivals with cards developed based on the characters from My Hero Academia manga and anime series.
