What Happened To Sarah Rafferty After Suits Ended
Sarah Rafferty starred as Donna Paulsen in the USA Network television series Suits, which ended in 2019, but what has she been up to since?
Suits ran for nine seasons on the USA Network, and Sarah Rafferty starred as Donna Paulsen in 132 of the 134 episodes. Donna was Harvey Specter's legal secretary and close friend before they took their relationship to the next level near the end of season 8, something that viewers had been waiting a long time for. The two characters had known one another since Harvey was an Assistant District Attorney, so they built a rapport that led to friendship and later to romance.
The USA Network legal drama television show has experienced a resurgence in popularity following Netflix adding the series' first eight seasons to its streaming library. As a result, some believe that Suits season 10 or a spinoff will be in the works soon. However, most of the actors, who are on strike as of the writing of this article, have moved on in their careers and taken on other acting roles, including Rafferty.
Sarah Rafferty Had Recurring Roles In Grey's Anatomy & Chicago Med After Suits
Following the Suits series finale, Sarah Rafferty immediately got to work to find another acting job. She took on the recurring role of Suzanne Britland in three episodes of Grey's Anatomy season 16. Suzanne was one of the patients at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital, and the doctors were confused about what was wrong with her. Following her run in the ABC series, Rafferty moved on to another medical drama show, but it was on NBC this time. The actress played Dr. Pamela Blake, the Division Chief of Transplantation Surgery at Gaffney Chicago Medical Center, in Chicago Med season 7. However, Rafferty left the series during the season 8 premiere.
Sarah Rafferty Is Starring In An Upcoming Netflix TV Show After Suits' Streaming Domination
Sarah Rafferty is set to star as Dr. Katherine Walter in the upcoming Netflix coming-of-age drama series My Life with the Walter Boys. The show is based on Ali Novak's 2014 novel of the same name and features Marc Blucas, Alisha Newton, Nikki Rodriguez, Ashby Gentry, and Noah LaLonde. Its story revolves around Rodriguez's character, Jackie Howard, a teenage girl who moves from New York City to Colorado after the Walters take her in.
The streaming service has yet to announce a release date for the television show, but the cast and crew finished filming it in September 2022. So, either My Life with the Walter Boys will premiere in the near future, or Netflix is holding off on releasing it while the strikes are ongoing. However, given the surprising and immovable success of Suits on the streaming service, it might be best to capitalize on that by releasing My Life with the Walter Boys, which features one of the USA Network show's stars.
